Assoc. Prof. Dr Nor Fadhilah Mohamad is an ophthalmologist sub-specialising in neuro-ophthalmology and has a strong background in clinical practice and education. She completed her fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in London in 2012, where she gained expertise in managing complex neuro-ophthalmological conditions. Dr. Nor Fadhilah is the Postgraduate Programme Coordinator at the Department of Ophthalmology. In this role, she oversees the training and development of postgraduate students, ensuring that the programme supports academic and clinical excellence. She is also involved in shaping ophthalmology training in Malaysia, contributing to advancing education and professional standards in the field. Her clinical and academic interests include optic neuropathies and improving patient-centred approaches to care. Dr. Nor Fadhilah has shared her work at various conferences, reflecting her dedication to advancing knowledge and improving clinical practices. show more »Norjihan is currently a Senior Lecturer in Department of Information System, FCSIT, Universiti Malaya. She started working at UM as a lecturer since November 2002 and become a senior lecturer in 2015. Her PhD in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2013), and her Master in Information Technology (2000) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Information Technolgy from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2000). Currently, she is the Head of Department for Information Systems since 7 October 2019. Her research interest is in the areas of information security which she focuses more on information privacy, data security, data protection. Norjihan managed to secure various research grants from internal and external funds as Principal Investigator, and also a co-researcher for grants. She was actively involved in the curriculum development which was appointed as Programme Coordinator for Master of Information Technology Management and involved in many programme development at the faculty level. Apart from this, she also involved being a panel interviewer for Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan and Biasiswa Yang di Pertuan Agong.
show more »Kim-Leng Goh is appointed as Honorary Professor at the Department of Economics and Applied Statistics, Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Malaya after his retirement from his professorial position at the same department. He received his degrees of Bachelor of Economics (Statistics) and Master of Economics from the University of Malaya, and PhD from Monash University (Australia). During his service, he held various academic administrative positions. He was the Deputy Dean of Higher Degree of FEA from September 2016-January 2018, and he held the same position from 2007-2012. He was the Head of Department of Applied Statistics, FEA from 2006-2007 and in 2020. From 2013-2016, he was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Global Planning & Strategy Centre under the Chancellery to assist the university in strategic planning and world university rankings. He served as the Editor of Malaysian Journal of Economic Studies (indexed in Scopus and ESCI) for about 20 years. He is an Advisor to the Capital Markets Review, and an editorial board member of the International Journal of Services, Economics and Management. He was also an editorial board member of the International Journal of Modelling in Operations Management. His areas of expertise include econometrics, financial econometrics, modeling and applied finance. He has published about 90 papers in refereed academic journals. He is currently supervising 5 PhD candidates, and more than 20 PhD candidates under his supervision have completed their studies.
