Biography | |
Dr Nor Fadhilah Mohamad has been with the University of Malaya since 1994 when she started her matriculation at Pusat Asasi Science followed by MBBS Degree in UM. She completed her housemanship training in University Hospital (now UMMC) after which she continued her Master of Ophthalmology in UM and graduated in 2008. She completed the training in neuro-ophthalmology subspecialty in Moorfields Eye Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in the UK in 2012. Since then, she has been providing services to patients in UMMC and UMSC including cases refered from KKM hopitals. Her main research and clinical interest is in diseases affecting the afferent and efferent pathways of the visual system mainly the optic nerve. She hopes to provide subspecialty training to future candidates in this challenging field. Apart from her clinical service, she is actively involved in the teaching of the undergraduate, posgraduate as well as nursing students. She is the department Co-ordinator of the University Malaya Medical Programme (UMMP) and has involved in curriculum review exercises. |
