Associate Professor Dr Chin Ai-Vyrn is a consultant Geriatrician in UMMC and UMSC. He trained in Dublin, Ireland and was the lead Clinical and Research Fellow at Mercer's Institute for Research in Ageing and Lecturer in Gerontology, Trinity College, Dublin prior to returning to Malaysia. Dr Chin has a Doctorate in Medicine from Trinity College, Dublin and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh. He is also is a founder member of the Ageing and Age Associated Disorders Research Group in University Malaya as well as the Malaysian Society of Geriatric Medicine. He remains committed to the development of clinical services, research and education of Geriatric Medicine in Malaysia.
