Biography | |
Dr. Mohd Sayuti Ab Karim graduated from Universiti Malaya in 2006 with a Bachelor Degree in CAD/CAM Engineering. He continued his postgraduate studies in Engineering Science and completed his Master’s degree in 2009. He then pursued his Doctoral studies in Advanced Manufacturing Process and obtained his PhD in 2013. He joined the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya as a senior lecturer after that.
Dr. Mohd Sayuti started his research career as a Research Assistant at Advanced Manufacturing and Material Processing (AMMP) Centre in mid 2006. He has conducted various research projects related to engineering design and manufacturing. He has published more than 40 ISI publications to date. He is also the General Manager of Zecttron Sdn Bhd, a Spin-off Company of University of Malaya, since 2022. Academically, Dr. Mohd Sayuti has a lot of experience in teaching engineering related courses such as Product Design, Engineering Design and Modelling, Reverse Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing technology. In addition, Dr. Mohd Sayuti is a Chartered Engineer by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) in the UK and a professional Engineer by Board Engineer Malaysia (BEM) since 2022. |
