Dr. Suzaimi Johari is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Nanotechnology and Catalysis Research Centre (NANOCAT), Universiti Malaya (UM), where she is currently working under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Mohd Rafie Johan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nader Ghaffari Khaligh. Her research focuses on developing organocatalytic materials with applications in both academia and industry, particularly in the field of green chemistry. Dr. Suzaimi holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) from Universiti Malaya (UM), where she conducted research into advanced organocatalysis, developing materials that can facilitate organic reactions with high selectivity and minimal waste. She also holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) from the Korea National University of Science and Technology (UST), and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (BSc. Chem.) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Her work aims to create more efficient, environmentally friendly catalytic systems that can help reduce waste and energy consumption in chemical processes, contributing to more sustainable industrial practices. |
