Nik Ibtishamiah Hj Ibrahim is a Research Officer at the Centre for Transportation Research, Universiti Malaya. Her expertise lies in Urban Transportation Planning, with a strong emphasis on road safety, public transport systems, traffic behavior, and environmental sustainability. Her research and publications explore key transportation issues and policy developments in Malaysia and across Asia. Apart from research activities, she actively contributes to community initiatives, particularly in road safety education for schoolchildren and the general public. She currently serves as Secretary General of the Transportation Science Society of Malaysia (TSSM) and is a lifetime member and Executive Committee member (2023–2025) of the Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS).
