BIOGRAPHY


Dr. A G M Mustayen Billah (MIEAust, MIEEE) received his PhD degree in Engineering from the University of Tasmania, Hobart Australia. He received the BTech (Electronics and Instrumentation) and MEngSci (Electrical) from the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), India and the Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, respectively.

Dr Mustayen is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has over twelve (12) years’ experience in academia and research including Australia, Malaysia and Bangladesh. He also worked (remotely) as a postdoctoral research fellow (international) in UNITEN, Malaysia.   

His research focused on hybrid power generation (e.g., renewables, battery, and DGs), EV technologies (e.g., wireless charging, battery management and optimization), hydrogen energy, recycling waste to energy, and intelligent optimization techniques etc. He is the author or co-author of many articles/proceeding in high impact journals/international conferences.

He is a reviewer of Elsevier, Taylor and Francis, Springer Natures, and IEEE Transactions etc. He is a professional member of Engineer Australia (MIEAust) and a member of IEEE.
