I have been teaching English for over a decade, beginning in 2013 in ELS Malaysia. I then joined the Teach for Malaysia initiative as a High-Impact Teaching Fellow posted in a high-needs secondary school in Klang for two years. After that, I was confirmed in the goverment service as a secondary school teacher and was redeployed to SMK Sungai Besar, Sabak Bernam for lack of English teachers in that region.  

In May of 2017, I became a part-time lecturer for the Foundation in English programme in the CDFS faculty in UNISEL, and I have since realized since that my true passion and skills-set lies within the domain of lecturing or tutoring English academic subjects to young adults.

In 2018, I was accepted in University Malaya as an English language lecturer under the Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, where I have been teaching since. I am also a lifetime Level 3 Officer of Kesatuan Olahraga Malaysia (KOM) and champion of several sporting competitions, including the Skrine Regatta Dragon Boat Race in 2019. In addition, I am a Mental Health Liaison Officer where I service the mental health needs of students in my faculty.
