Dr Liew Fong Fong is an academician and researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Malaya, with interdisciplinary expertise across pharmaceutical, biomedical and health sciences. Her research interests include regenerative medicine, extracellular vesicles, cancer biology, inflammation, antimicrobial research, biomaterials and precision therapeutics, integrating wet-laboratory, computational and translational approaches.

Her current work incorporates miRNA profiling, proteomic analysis, molecular pathway investigation and biomarker discovery to better understand disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets, supporting her growing interest in precision science and personalised therapies. Her research also extends into artificial intelligence in healthcare, research and education, with an emphasis on connecting molecular evidence, precision health, digital innovation and patient-centred care.
