Nur Fadhilah is a senior lecturer in the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya (UM). Her research is primarily focused on cryptography, data security and privacy, with a strong interest in emerging technologies such as blockchain and smart cities. Her work involves developing cryptographic protocols, privacy-preserving scheme, secure data dissemination, and secure communication frameworks to protect network, system, and data against security threats.

She received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Purdue University, USA, followed by a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia. Her extensive research in cryptography during her doctoral studies has influenced her current work, motivating her to develop secure and privacy-preserving solutions for safeguarding today's digital world. Her goal is to conduct impactful research for the betterment of society, inspire and mentor students to develop critical thinking skills and ethical practices.
