Dr. Xueling is a Lecturer at the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS), Universiti Malaya. She possesses a highly competitive, multidisciplinary academic background with a global footprint spanning China, Spain, the United States, and Malaysia.

She earned her PhD in Educational Leadership from Universiti Malaya and holds a Master of Science in Teaching and Curriculum from the University of Rochester, USA, following her foundational studies in Spanish and English Literacy at Tianjin Foreign Studies University. This diverse educational journey has provided her with deep expertise in multicultural adaptation and cross-border pedagogical frameworks.

Before transitioning into academia, Dr. Xueling gained significant professional experience at industry-leading organizations, including ByteDance and New Oriental. Her experience in these top-tier companies allows her to bridge the gap between corporate innovation and academic theory, bringing a unique "industry-informed" perspective to her research on leadership and organizational dynamics.

Guided by a teaching philosophy focused on empowering students to achieve their personal best, Dr. Xueling’s current research focuses on Educational Leadership. She is particularly interested in how leadership evolves within diverse cultural contexts and rapidly changing digital ecosystems.
