BIOGRAPHY


Wai Wai Wong is a legal academic specialising in trust law, corporate governance, and law and technology, with expertise in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and smart contracts. Her research explores the interaction between traditional legal doctrines and emerging digital technologies, focusing on how legal frameworks adapt to decentralised systems and digital governance.

She is the author of The Law of Smart Contracts (2022) and Trust and Corporate Governance in Digitalization (2026). She has authored and co-authored several research articles and conference papers published in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals and has presented her research at conferences in Malaysia and internationally.

Wong is also an accredited HRD Corp trainer, specialising in blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). Through her training programmes, she provides insights into the applications and implications of these emerging technologies, helping organisations understand how blockchain-driven innovations can enhance transparency, efficiency, and security in corporate operations. She is invited to deliver academic lectures, industry talks, and professional training programmes on blockchain, smart contracts, and digital governance.
