BIOGRAPHY

Puan Thanaletchumi A/P Dharmalingam is currently serving as an Information Technology Officer at the Department of Information Technology, University of Malaya. She holds an academic qualification in Computer Science, with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from University of Malaya. With extensive experience of 20 years in the field of Information Technology, she is currently serving as the Coordinator of the Premier Services Digitalization Section where this section is responsible for 3 core application units of UM, namely the Human Resources Application Unit, Student Application Unit, and Teaching & Learning Applications Unit.

  • Sistem UMEXPERT
    2007, Aplikasi UMExpert merupakan sistem in-house yang dibangunkan untuk mengurus maklumat staf akademik di Universiti Malaya (UM). Sistem ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mempromosikan hasil penyelidikan staf akademik, sekaligus membantu meningkatkan visibiliti penyelidikan yang dijalankan di UM. Melalui UMExpert, maklumat berkaitan kepakaran akademik, penerbitan, penyelidikan, dan pencapaian staf dapat diurus serta diakses dengan lebih sistematik. Secara tidak langsung, sistem ini berperanan dalam memperkasakan UM sebagai universiti penyelidikan terkemuka, sekali gus memperkukuhkan reputasinya di peringkat nasional dan antarabangsa. Atas sumbangan inovatifnya dalam mempertingkatkan pengurusan maklumat penyelidikan akademik, UMExpert telah dianugerahkan "Anugerah Cemerlang Universiti Malaya 2009 bagi Sumbangan Idea Paling Inovatif". (Product Development)
