BIOGRAPHY


Dr. Syed Bahari Ramadzan Bin Syed Adnan is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Physics Department, Faculty of Science. He completed his Ph.D. in Material Science via thesis by producing 10 publications. His Ph.D. work is on the synthesis and characterization of Lithium Superionic Conductor (LISICON) structured solid electrolytes for potential use in Lithium Batteries. He expanded his research work by using clay, polymer, and an ionic liquid as hybrid compound electrolytes and discovered potential used in Sodium and Magnesium batteries. He supervised 5 Ph.D and 2 master's students and published about 40 papers in high-impact journals and proceedings. He also filed a research patent titled " A method for synthesizing nano ionic sodium zinc silicate" by synthesis of that compound using halloysite nano-clay.
