BIOGRAPHY


Dr. Sumaia Mohammed Zaid is a specialist in measurement and evaluation and psychological testing, currently affiliated with the Department of Educational Psychology and Counselling, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sana’a University before pursuing her Master’s and Ph.D. in Measurement and Evaluation at the University of Malaya. Her doctoral training strengthened her expertise in psychometric analysis, scale development, and the cross-cultural adaptation of psychological instruments.

Her research focuses on measurement and evaluation, psychological assessment, emotion regulation, quantitative research methods, and advanced statistical analysis. She is particularly interested in developing culturally sensitive measurement tools and applying robust psychometric techniques to improve the validity and reliability of psychological and educational assessments.
