BIOGRAPHY

My research interest largely lies in areas of pragmatics and discourse analysis. I’m particularly interested in analysing media interaction in particular by using the methodological approaches of conversation analysis and membership categorization analysis. Beyond this area, I have an interest in pragmatics, in exploring real life data and focussing on speech acts, Gricean implicatures, politeness and impoliteness.
