  • Revision of Format and Content of The English Version Degree Scroll (2012)
    2012, Until 2011, the Universiti Malaya issued the degree scroll in Malay (BM) as the original document, with the English version (BI) as its translation. However, international graduates faced difficulties in validating the English version of the scroll because it was considered just a translated document. Following suggestions for improvement, the Universiti Malaya began issuing degree scrolls in both BM and BI with identical content. This proposal was approved by JKPU in 2012 and has been in use since the 2012 Convocation Ceremony. (Service Innovation)
  • Revision of Degree Scroll Size for The Malay Version (Bm) (2012)
    2012, Before the improvements, the size of the UM degree scroll for the Malay version was unique, and the last revision was made in 1999. In 2012, a proposal was made to standardize the size of the BM degree scroll to match the English version (BI), making it A4 in size, along with enhancements to the wording of the degree award. This proposal was approved by JKPU in 2012. (Creative & Design Innovation)
