BIOGRAPHY



Dr. Rulia Akhtar is a Research Fellow at Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies (UAC), Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. She obtained her PhD from the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, International Islamic University, Malaysia. She has published more than 30 scientific papers in international refereed journals and presented several papers at local and international conferences. Her research interests are climate change adaptation and mitigation, adaptive capacity, Community Development, Scio economic Development, Poverty and Inequality, sustainable development, environmental economics, development economics, livelihood and gender inequality.
