- New Guidelines for The Management of Replacement Leave for Ptj/University/External Level Activities and Programs2025, To draft and establish new guidelines for the management of Replacement Leave at UM (Process Improvement)
- Improvements to Working Hours During Ramadan for The Year 20252025, The implementation of Ramadan Flexible Working Hours (FWH) in 2025 has been improved with the intention of providing staff the opportunity to spend time with their families for worship. Staff are given the option to either remain with the existing flexible working hours or the Ramadan flexible working hours. The Ramadan flexible working hours have been improved where adjustments have been made and staff can leave as early as 12 noon on Fridays. These implemented improvements meet the stipulated weekly working hours. (Process Improvement)
- Improvements to The Annual Leave Approval Process and Emergency Leave Terms 20242024, 1. Improvements include Auto-Approval Process for Annual Leave, where leave applications submitted by staff will be automatically approved by the system if there is no action from the Approver after three (3) days from when the staff submitted the application. 2. Shortening the Annual Leave application period from three (3) days to one (1) day before the leave date and the Emergency Leave term applies only to leave applications submitted on or after the leave date (back-dated). - Development of The E-Hr System and Improvement of Work Processes At The Human Talent Services Center2023, The automation of existing work processes currently performed manually particularly for Leave Module. Development is carried out in stages according to the phases as stipulated. The development of this system involves forty-seven (47) types of leave and benefits nearly six thousand (6,000) UM staff. The development of this Leave Module is still being actively carried out in phases and has been launched in stages from time to time. To date, six (6) phases with twenty-four (24) types of leave have been successfully launched. (Automation & AI)
- Amendment of Approval Authority Limits for Work Processes in The Human Resource Division2022, Cultivating efficient management by reviewing and ensuring effective governance/approval level (Lean Management) (Process Improvement)
- Attendance Regulations During The Movement Control Order (McO) - Covid-192021, Involved in the process of preparing guidelines/regulations for UM staff attendance during the MCO implementation, covering: 1. Work From Home Regulations 2. Staff Attendance Guidelines During the National Recovery Plan Phase III 3. COVID-19 Immunization Implementation Regulations for Universiti Malaya Staff (Process Improvement)
- Managing The Implementation of The Sistem Pengurusan Amalan Nilai (Span) 2.0 for UM2021, Public Services Department has implemented the holistic management of value practices to enhance the level of value and integrity practices among public officers, prioritizing programs for the adoption, internalization, and practice of values at the individual and organizational levels, with a focus on integrity, spirituality and psychology. Involvement in this exercise is crucial in enhancing the image and reputation of the University. UM has successfully achieved a score of 84.18%. (Others)
- Guidelines for New Shift Working Hours in The Security Division2021, Formulation and establishment of a new shift working hours guideline for staff in the Security Division where staff can enjoy leave (rest day) for two (2) consecutive days, compared to only one (1) day before this.
