BIOGRAPHY


Rosli Said is a highly accomplished professional with extensive knowledge and experience in the real estate field. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Land Management and an M.Sc. in Urban Land Appraisal from Reading University, UK, and a Ph.D. in Real Estate Finance from Ulster University, Northern Ireland, UK. He is a Chartered Surveyor conferred by RICS and a member of other prestigious organizations such as MIPFM and RISM. Furthermore, he is registered as a Professional Valuer, Estate Agent, and Property Manager with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents, and Property Managers Malaysia.

Rosli's career began at Abrar Group International, where he worked as a property development executive. During his tenure, he gained valuable experience in various areas of real estate, including feasibility studies, development appraisal, and real estate agency. He later joined Henry Butcher Malaysia as a Research Manager, contributing to a wide range of consultancy projects related to real estate research, valuation, development, real estate agency, finance, and investment, both locally and internationally.

As an academician, Rosli has led numerous research projects and provided consultancy services. Among others, his work involved assessing housing affordability in Malaysia and proposing financial solutions to improve it. He has also evaluated the housing finance systems in emerging markets, analyzed the financial impacts of UNHCR-registered refugees, forecasted office demand in Kuala Lumpur, and undertaken the redevelopment of wholesale market. Rosli's research interests encompass housing research, property modeling and forecasting, real estate development, and real estate finance and investment.
