BIOGRAPHY


Dr. Rajenthyran Ayavoo is a senior lecturer in the Department of Management and Marketing within the Faculty of Business and Economics at the prestigious Universiti Malaya (UM). His extensive academic and industry background has made him a prominent figure in the field of business management, particularly in the areas of technology, innovation, and sustainability.

Dr. Raj holds a Ph.D. in Business Management, focusing on Technologies Capabilities and Innovation Collaboration. He earned this esteemed PhD degree from the renowned Alliance Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. His research interests are deeply rooted in technology and innovation, with a primary emphasis on capabilities development and inter-organizational collaboration. His research portfolio encompasses a broad spectrum of topics, including technology transfer, collaboration, knowledge management, entrepreneurship, green innovation, sustainability, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, and collaborative research and development (R&D) in technology and service industries. This diverse range of interests underscores his dedication to advancing knowledge in the ever-evolving field of business management.

Dr. Raj's commitment to research is further evidenced by his role as a Doctoral Fellow at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIoIR) - Alliance Manchester Business School. This position allows him to contribute actively to cutting-edge research in innovation and technology management.

Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Raj has gained valuable practical experience during his tenure in the financial sector. With over six years of industry experience, he has worked with various esteemed financial institutions in Malaysia, including Eon Bank, Hong Leong Bank, AmBank, and CIMB Bank. His expertise in areas such as personal financing, credit on mortgages, business loans, SME financing, and others adds a practical dimension to his academic work.
