MADAM NOR NISMAWATI BINTI MOKHTAR

Puan Nor Nismawati binti Mokhtar is a Counseling Psychologist by training and by profession and currently serving as Senior Psychology Officer at the Centre for Counselling and Disability Empowerment, Registrar’s Portfolio, Universiti Malaya since January 2007. She is a Registered Counsellor (01657) and Certified Practitioner (01228) endorsed by the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia. She is also a Clinical Mental Health Counselling Certified Practitioner.  She possesses more than 18 years of experience inside and outside her current employment organization. Her academic theses include Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) in Organization and University Students’ Mental Health State. She has coordinated and trained many workshops on psychology, counselling and mental health, inside and outside UM, focusing on students from various levels and also on staff from academic and non-academic lines. To date, she has presented more than 30 topics and modules in the relevant fields.

Puan Nor Nismawati is an active member of the UM Emceeing Pool where she has been emceeing various levels of events, ranging from royalty-presence, international level to university level events. She is also actively involved in protocol and event management tasks inside and outside UM, being liaison officer to multiple levels of guests of honors and other esteemed guests.

Puan Nor Nismawati has also been appointed as Industrial Advisor for School of Psychology, SEGI College, Malaysia. She is also active in emceeing inside and outside UM. Additionally, she is an active exco of Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru (PIBG) for Sekolah Menengah (L) Bukit Bintang, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
