BIOGRAPHY


Nashrudin graduated with distinction in Bachelor of Sports Science Majoring in Exercise Physiology from Universiti Malaya in 2010. In year 2013, he completed his Master of Philosophy (Applied Sports Nutrition) with scholarship awarded by the university under the Bright Spark program. With his excellent research achievement, Nashrudin was again awarded a Dual PhD scholarship between Loughborough University, UK and Universiti Malaya, with GBP 20,000 worth research grant. He then completed his PhD studies in the area of Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition at these two prestigious universities in 2019 respectively. Nashrudin is keen in the area of exercise/sports nutrition for human performance, applied sport nutrition and exercise promotion for health and wellbeing. Besides, Nashrudin also actively participate in many talks and conferences across the country and also at international level. Apart from research activities, Nashrudin also actively involve with leadership in number of organisation. He is a member of Malaysia Association in Sports Medicine (MASM) and appointed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport Malaysia as the board member of National Sport Institute. As a former national rower, he occasionally provides free consultation for Malaysian athletes who seek to optimize training and sports performance though nutrition.
