BIOGRAPHY


My main interest is in Syntax, the way in which words are put together to creat structures. Syntax has connection with other feilds of language, including meaning, sound structure, word structure as well as language use. My research interest includes Syntactic Theory, Interfaces in Syntax (with Morphology and Semantics) and Sociosyntax (the variation of syntactic structures due to social factors).
