BIOGRAPHY


Dr. Soong Ming Foong received B.Eng. (Mechanical) from University of Malaya, Malaysia, and received Ph.D. from the same institution in 2015 with a specialization in vehicle and suspension dynamics. He had two years of post-doctoral researcher experience (2015-2017) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Malaya, working within the Advanced Computational and Applied Mechanics (ACAM) research group. He has been a senior lecturer of University of Malaya since 2018, and is currently affiliated to Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests cover intelligent vehicle suspension systems including inerter and semi-active suspension, vehicle ride and handling, and vehicle modeling.
