BIOGRAPHY
Mahmoud Zakaria Ibrahim is a Lecturer at University of Malaya since 2023. He obtained his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University, then he obtained his PhD from University of Malaya in 2019. He served as a Postdoctoral fellow at University of Malaya for two years from 2021. He has a background in manufacturing and materials engineering. Now he focuses on the field of amorphous metals, surface engineering and additive manufacturing. He established a research collaboration with international institutions in Taiwan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UK and Austria.
During his career, he has successfully secured 6 international grants and 3 national and internal grants worth more than USD 135k and published more than 20 articles in WoS and Scopus indexed journals with h-index 11.
