BIOGRAPHY


DR KOHILAVANI NAGANTHRAN is a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya (UM). She is currently the Manager (Research service) of the Centre for Data Analytics Consultancy and Services (UM-CDACS). She received the first-class honours in Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Statistics from the Universiti Selangor in 2012. She then went on to pursue a Master of Science (2013) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Mathematics at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2015. Upon graduation of Ph.D. in 2019, she is an active researcher in the field of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, boundary layer theory, heat transfer in Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids, nanofluids, magneto-hydrodynamics and convective flow. Previously, she has been worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science & Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Recently, she was listed among the top 2% of scientists worldwide for the year 2023 by Stanford University through the Elsevier data repository.
