BIOGRAPHY

I am Huong Nguyen, a Vietnamese literature teacher with more than 20 years experienced in teaching.

I also conduct Vietnamese classes for children at Vietnam Embassy from 2016 until now.

I am the treasurer cum secretary at Malaysia - Vietnam Friendship Association.

My objective is to popularize Vietnamese language and culture to more people. I also hope to be able to connect and exchange students between the Universiti Malaya and universities in Vietnam; promote Malaysian education to Vietnamese students to strengthen cooperation between Malaysia and Vietnam in the fields of culture and education.

  • Served as a committee member for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Department of Southeast Asian Studies, Universiti Malaya. Contributed to the planning and execution of cultural engagement activities, including the cooking competition and traditional games. Supported student involvement and logistics during the event held on 30 April 2025.
