BIOGRAPHY

I am Huong Nguyen, a Vietnamese literature teacher with more than 20 years experienced in teaching.

I also conduct Vietnamese classes for children at Vietnam Embassy from 2016 until now.

I am the treasurer cum secretary at Malaysia - Vietnam Friendship Association.

My objective is to popularize Vietnamese language and culture to more people. I also hope to be able to connect and exchange students between the Universiti Malaya and universities in Vietnam; promote Malaysian education to Vietnamese students to strengthen cooperation between Malaysia and Vietnam in the fields of culture and education.

  • Appointed as Committee Member for the organising committee of the programme “Discover Brazil: Language, Culture and Diplomacy,” held on 19 May 2026 at Mengkula Hall, Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. The programme was organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Brazil in Kuala Lumpur and aimed at promoting Brazilian language, culture, and diplomatic relations. Received official appreciation letter from the Ambassador of Brazil acknowledging contributions to the success of the event.
