BIOGRAPHY

Elanni received her PhD from Universiti Malaya in 2023, specializing in geohazard assessment, disaster risk reduction, and urban geology. Her research integrates geoscience data to evaluate engineering ground conditions and assess urban areas' vulnerability to geohazards, facilitating the identification of suitable zones for urban development through GIS technology. She is also exploring the applications of big data and artificial intelligence in her work.

Her focus on urban geology examines the relationship between human development and the Earth's resources, promoting sustainable and resilient cities. Committed to impactful research, she engages with stakeholders and collaborates with industry partners to ensure her work addresses real-world needs, thereby enriching the educational experience for students.
