DR. LIM YIN CHENG

(Doctor in Public Health)
Dr Lim is a medical lecturer of occupational and public health at the Universiti Malaya (UM). His research focuses on the impacts of circadian rhythms and night work on chronic diseases and mental health. To date, he has secured over USD 686,000 (RM3 million) in grants, supervised 15 PHD (3 graduated) and 16 master students (12 graduated), and published 22 indexed articles. His main successful project as a principal investigator was securing a significant grant of over USD 85,000 (RM345,000) for a project developing facial anthropometric data for Malaysians. He has earned multiple awards, including ICOH-International Labour Organisation (ILO) Master Fellowship Award 2024, Universiti Malaya Excellent Certificate 2023, MBBS Best Lecturer (non-clinical) Award 2024 and the Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship 2025 by O.P. Jindal Global University, India.
