ASSOCIATE PROF. DR. TEO ENG WAH

(Dr)
Dr. Teo is an academic professional and researcher who earned both his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His academic interest centers on sport psychology, psychometrics, and the development and validation of testing questionnaires. Dr. Teo is particularly dedicated to sports research within the Malaysian context, exploring key psychological factors such as athlete motivation, self-esteem, resilience, and sport commitment. His other interests also extend to health, fitness, and wildlife conservation. Alongside his research, Dr. Teo is deeply involved in student development and community service. His leadership roles include: Current Role: June 2026- current Deputy Dean (Development) 2022-current: Faculty Coordinator for the Internship Program (Bachelor of Sport Management). Past Role (2017–2021): Coordinator for the Bachelor of Sport Management program. Past Role (2016–2023): Coordinator of Social Engagement (Jalinan Masyarakat) and SULAM.
