Tutut Herawan is an accomplished academician and Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya. He previously served as a visiting researcher at the PARADISE Lab, Deakin University, and is an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Brawijaya University, Indonesia. Recognised globally, he has been listed in the Top 2% World Scientists Ranking by Stanford University and Elsevier since 2020, and is among the most prolific DBLP computer science authors and leading Malaysian computer scientists on Research.com. He earned his PhD in Information Technology from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia in 2010 and has over 19 years of academic experience, supervising and examining numerous postgraduate theses internationally. At Universiti Malaya, he holds key administrative roles related to research publication, transformative agreements, and faculty research governance. Dr. Herawan has secured more than RM 4.5 million in research funding and serves as consultant to various Indonesian universities. He is actively engaged in editorial roles for reputable journals and book series, and has extensive publication and collaboration records. His research interests include data science, big data, data engineering, soft computing, and information systems.
