Geologist and paleoceanographer with extensive international research experience in paleoclimate, paleoceanography, and environmental geochemistry, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geology, Universiti Malaya. PhD in Geology from Banaras Hindu University, India (2019), with doctoral research conducted at the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences. Over five years of postdoctoral research experience across South Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Specialises in reconstructing past climate and oceanographic variability using marine micropaleontology, stable and radiogenic isotopes, trace elements, and organic biomarkers. Research interests include Asian monsoon variability, ocean temperature, upwelling and oxygenation, biogeochemical cycling, sea-level change, and tropical–polar climate teleconnections. Experienced in interdisciplinary research, international collaboration, field and laboratory investigations, and the application of geochemical proxies to marine and coastal environmental change.
