Professor Dr. See Mee-Hoong Professor Dr. See Mee-Hoong is a senior lecturer at the University of Malaya and Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at UMMC, Malaysia. She leads the General Surgery Division and Breast and Endocrine Unit, pioneering minimally invasive and robotic breast surgery in collaboration with the Robotic Surgery Taskforce and is active in surgical training, research for application in clinical setting and curriculum development. A strong clinical and research leader, she has a keen interest in digital health and the application of safe AI in clinical practice. She has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers and collaborates with Kyungpook National University on AI-driven breast cancer diagnostics and with Cancer Research Malaysia on trials including ARICA, vaccine development, and familial breast cancer modelling. She is Malaysia’s Country Lead for the TARGIT-B trial with Prof. Jayant Vaidya, UCL, UK, advancing breast cancer treatment and research internationally.
