Abuisaac is a lecturer at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, specializing in translation, linguistics, and intercultural communication. He earned his Ph.D. in Linguistics with Distinction and Master of Linguistics from the University of Malaya, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Methods of Teaching English (TESOL) from Al-Aqsa University, Palestine. Before joining the University of Malaya, Abuisaac served as an Assistant Professor and Deputy Head of the English Department at Al-Aqsa University, where he taught academic writing, translation, syntax, semantics, and supervised undergraduate research. He played a key role in curriculum development and departmental leadership. His areas of research and teaching interest include pragma-translation, syntax, semantics, Qur’anic studies, discourse analysis, and cross-cultural pragmatics. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and actively contributes as a reviewer for several academic publications. In addition to his university roles, Abuisaac has held positions as a translator, managing director, language instructor, and interpreter at institutions such as Isaac Academy, Menara Language Center, and the Scientific Institute for Advanced Training and Studies. Fluent in Arabic and English, he continues to bridge theory and practice through dynamic teaching and interdisciplinary research.
