Dr. Sarah Yaseen Abdulrazzaq Al-Shareeda is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya. Her research advances the security, privacy, and intelligence of connected and autonomous transportation systems, spanning vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANETs), digital twins, reinforcement learning, 6G vehicular edge and cloud computing, and cyber-physical systems. She earned her PhD as a Fulbright Science and Technology Fellow and has since held research and teaching positions at The Ohio State University's Center for Automotive Research, the University of Bahrain, and Istanbul Technical University, contributing to industry- and government-funded programmes including US NSF, US DOT (CARMEN+ and Crash Imminent Safety), and TUBITAK initiatives. Her work spans numerous journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, and international patents, and has been recognised with a Fulbright Science and Technology Award, the IEEE Women in ITS Award, and best-paper honours. An IEEE Senior Member active in the Communications, Vehicular Technology, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Power & Energy, and Women in Engineering societies, she serves as a reviewer and technical committee member for leading venues. Her current focus is trustworthy AI and digital-twin architectures for safe, privacy-preserving, and resilient next-generation mobility.
