Ir. Ts. Dr. Razuana Rahim is a Professional Engineer (Ir.) and Professional Technologist (Ts.) with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering. Her expertise spans sustainable manufacturing, cleaner production, carbon footprint assessment, decarbonisation, circular economy, and environmental management. She is actively involved in academia, research, industrial consultancy, and professional development. Her research focuses on advancing sustainability through innovative engineering solutions that enhance environmental performance and resource efficiency in manufacturing industries. Her research interests include carbon hotspot assessment, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, cleaner production, life cycle thinking, industrial symbiosis, circular economy, and environmental sustainability. She also has a growing interest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, digital technologies for sustainability assessment, and sustainability reporting. In addition to her academic and research activities, Ir. Ts. Dr. Razuana serves as a Committee Member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and contributes to professional development programmes that promote the competencies and lifelong learning of engineers in Malaysia. She is committed to bridging academia and industry through teaching, consultancy, and collaborative research while promoting industry-oriented learning and multidisciplinary collaboration. Her aspiration is to advance sustainable engineering practices through impactful research, knowledge transfer, strategic industry engagement, and professional leadership.
