My career at Universiti Malaya is marked by rapid advancement and impactful contributions. Achieving tenure quickly, i led a significant BSc Biotechnology curriculum review, incorporating digitalization and industry-relevant subjects, enhancing the program's impact. My commitment to research is evident through affiliations with YSN-ASM, CESPRO, SRI, and AIT, alongside editorial roles in prominent journals, boosting research visibility. Securing grants from Gamuda Land, MOSTI, and Petronas, and establishing MOAs, showcases my ability to bridge academia and industry. My interdisciplinary research spans bioremediation, food security, and bioenergy, demonstrating versatility. My proactive approach and successful collaborations, including international partnerships, solidify the growing influence. With a focus on strengthening industrial linkages, im poised for continued success, particularly with Associate Professorship. My dedication to innovation and research excellence positions myself as a valuable asset to Universiti Malaya and the broader scientific community.
