DR. PANG JEE CHING

Dr Pang Jee Ching is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Educational Psychology and Counselling, Universiti Malaya. She earned her Ph.D. in Special Education from Universiti Malaya. Her research interests include Special Education, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Supported Employment, and Action Research, reflecting her commitment to inclusive education and improving opportunities for learners with diverse needs. She has 26 years of experience working closely with individuals and families who are living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism, ADHD and Global Developmental Disorder. She maintains connections with the community by conducting workshops, support groups and individual consultations. Her work emphasizes bridging theory and practice through accessible learning resources and evidence-based strategies that empower educators and students alike. In her teaching, Dr. Pang adopts a student-centered and experiential approach, integrating real-world applications and reflective practices to foster critical thinking and professional competence among future educators.
