Dr. Nurdiana Nordin, Dr.-Ing, is a passionate and versatile scientist and lecturer, bringing extensive expertise in materials science and analytical techniques. Her academic journey started with a B.Sc. in Pure Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Organic Synthesis from the University of Malaya, culminating in a Ph.D. from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where she investigated innovative uses of triboelectric nanogenerators made from biopolymer materials. Dr. Nordin specializes in engineering fabrication, physical organic chemistry, and advanced NMR methods for metabolomic research. She has created microfluidic devices applicable in various sectors such as biomedicine, health monitoring, agriculture, and food safety. Her research is motivated by a desire to merge chemistry and engineering to develop solutions that advance technology across different fields. As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Malaya, she is focused on promoting innovation through her education and research efforts. Dr. Nordin welcomes collaboration with industries, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations globally, aiming to contribute to the community and tackle global issues.
