Dr.-Ing Nurdiana Nordin is a passionate chemist and interdisciplinary researcher dedicated to bridging cutting-edge science with real-world solutions. Holding a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Universiti Malaya, Malaysia and a Ph.D. from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Germany, her research blends chemistry, engineering, and technology to create impactful innovations. As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Malaya, Dr. Nurdiana leads Flexihydro D'lab, a small but dynamic team focused on developing sustainable solutions that address global challenges. From advancing healthcare and agriculture to enhancing environmental monitoring, the lab specializes in creating smart systems using advanced materials, biosensing technologies, and green chemistry. Driven by Malaysia’s national goals for sustainable development, Flexihydro D'lab is committed to pushing boundaries and delivering transformative solutions. The team fosters collaboration and interdisciplinary thinking to create meaningful, real-world impact.
