Dr Nor Nazrina Mohamad Nazry is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya (UM). She obtained her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, and joined UM in 2019. Her engagement in the evolving field of education began in 2006, when she served as a research assistant in digital learning at an educational university. Her research focuses on immersive learning, particularly pedagogical approaches involving extended reality (XR) and serious games for teaching and training. She is also passionate about broader areas in instructional technology, including inclusive digital instruction, learning experience and behaviour, and the application of artificial intelligence in education. She has published extensively in Web of Science (WoS), Scopus-indexed, and other peer-reviewed journals. Beyond academic publications, she is a regular columnist for national outlets such as Berita Harian and Akses Malaysia, where her writing often explores the human dimensions of technology and digital society. In addition to research and writing, she serves as a field coordinator for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education, actively supporting the preparation of pre-service teachers in engineering education, design and technology, and computer science. She is also an experienced trainer for XR workshops, a member of academic juries for innovation competitions, and a reviewer for international and local journals as well as conference proceedings.
