Dr. Narsimlu Kemsaram is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working at the intersection of Robotics and AI. His research advances AI-driven autonomy for robotic systems, with emphasis on multi-robot systems, swarm robotics, and aerial robotics (UAVs) for robust operation in complex real-world environments. He builds deployable autonomy pipelines that combine perception, learning, and control, and validates them through simulation-to-real experimentation on robotic platforms. He has held research positions across Europe and the UK, including Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (ASMET/EU-RDF), Eindhoven University of Technology (i-CAVE/NWO), the University of Luxembourg SnT Space Robotics Group (SESAME/EU H2020 and 5G-Sky Drones/FNR CORE), and University College London (Swarm SSMs/EPSRC/UKRI). These experiences have shaped a research agenda centered on multi-robot systems and connected autonomy for cooperative swarm robots. He contributes to research-led teaching and supervision, mentoring students in robotics and AI, and actively supports the research community through peer review and academic service.
