Profile: Dr. Narsimlu Kemsaram is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working at the intersection of Robotics and AI. His research advances AI-driven autonomy for robotic systems, with emphasis on multi-robot systems, swarm robotics, and aerial robotics for robust operation in complex real-world environments. He builds deployable autonomy pipelines that combine perception, learning, and control, and validates them through simulation-to-real experimentation on robotic platforms. He has held research positions across Europe and the UK, including Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (ASMET/EU-RDF), Eindhoven University of Technology (i-CAVE/NWO), the University of Luxembourg SnT Space Robotics Group (SESAME/EU H2020 and 5G-Sky Drones/FNR CORE), and University College London (Swarm SSMs/EPSRC/UKRI). These experiences have shaped a research agenda centered on robotics and connected autonomy for cooperative swarm robots.
