Dr. Mohd Suhaimi Mohd Danuri is an academic at Universiti Malaya, specialising in procurement and construction law. He holds a PhD in Business Law from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2013), a Master of Construction Law from the University of Melbourne (2003), and both a Bachelor's (1997) and a Diploma (1995) in Quantity Surveying from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He joined the Faculty of Built Environment at the Universiti Malaya in 2003, bringing with him valuable industry experience gained across consultancy and construction firms. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2020 and has demonstrated strong institutional leadership, having twice served as the Head of the Department of Quantity Surveying (2006-2007 and 2016-2019). He actively secures research grants as Principal Investigator and supervises postgraduate students. His scholarly output exceeds 100 publications spanning journals, conference proceedings, digital media, and technical reports, alongside three books, including a single-authored book published in 2021. His academic and industry expertise is widely recognised. He has served as an academic advisor for a UK-franchised QS programme in Malaysia, and as an external examiner for several universities in Malaysia including Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Curtin University Malaysia, and currently Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak Branch. At the national level, he is regularly appointed as member of the Board of Quantity Surveyors
