Mohd Shahrul Nizam Mohd Danuri is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), Universiti Malaya. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (USM), a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property (UKM), and a PhD in Information Management (UiTM). He is a registered Professional Technologist and a member of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Council (TTAC) assessment panel under the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), and serves as a grant panel evaluator for the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). With over 14 years of industry experience in ICT and telecommunications, complemented by applied research exposure in the agriculture sector, his expertise spans Information Systems, system development, data science, Internet of Things (IoT), and ICT-enabled agricultural solutions, including precision agriculture. He currently serves as the Coordinator for the Master of Data Science programme and leads Technovations, a Business Pod under UM Innovations, where he actively bridges academia, industry, and innovation-driven initiatives.
