Dr. Meor Hakif is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Geology, University of Malaya (UM).  Dr. Meor teaches undergraduate courses in Stratigraphy and Sedimentology, as well as postgraduate topics in Reservoir Sedimentology and Sequence Stratigraphy. Ha has taught at UM for 15 years. Dr. Meor has a BSc in Geology and MSc (with distinction) in Stratigraphy. He also has a PhD and DIC in Sedimentology from Imperial College, University of London.
