DR. MADIHA BINTI BAHARUDDIN

Dr. Madiha Baharuddin is an interdisciplinary scholar whose research leadership is distinguished by pioneering contributions at the intersection of Islam, science, technology, and digital society. Her fields of research encompass Digital Ethics and Governance, Cybersecurity Awareness, Digital Society, and the Integration of Islam, Science, and Technology. Renowned for her visionary and transformative academic leadership, she has spearheaded impactful research initiatives addressing ethical digital engagement, youth online behavioural archetypes, cyber scam prevention, women’s digital empowerment, and community cyber resilience. Her areas of expertise include digital citizenship, online behavioural studies, cyber awareness, digital literacy, digital ethics, human-computer interaction and socio-technical governance. Her research interests critically interrogate the ethical implications of emerging technologies, digital culture, responsible technology use, and the role of Islamic frameworks in shaping humane and inclusive digital ecosystems.
