Professor Dr. Nor Liyana Mohd Shuib is a respected academic at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya, where she coordinates the Bachelor of Computer Science (Data Science) program. Ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University in 2023-2024, she has a strong research focus on e-learning, data science, AI applications, and educational technology. Professor Liyana has supervised many PhD students and published extensively, with a Scopus H-index of 35. She has won over 30 awards, including best paper accolades, and leads key projects in digital skills, mental health for seniors, and AI-driven healthcare and education initiatives. She also advises Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education on digital learning readiness and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Universitas Semarang, Indonesia.
