DR. NUR LISA BINTI ZAHARIN

Dr Nur Lisa Zaharin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Faculty of Education, Universiti Malaya. She holds a PhD in Science Education from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from Universiti Malaya, and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science (Chemistry). Her research interests focus on educational robotics, computational thinking, gamification, and instructional design, with particular emphasis on Design and Development Research (DDR). Her work aims to support meaningful STEM learning through innovative module development, teacher professional learning, and community-based educational initiatives. Dr Nur Lisa has experience teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, facilitating STEM workshops, and engaging with schools and communities, particularly in Sabah. She has contributed to journal publications, conference proceedings, and book chapters, and is involved in academic service through journal reviewing and conference roles at national and international levels. Her academic interests reflect a strong commitment to improving science education through practical, inclusive, and technology-supported approaches.
