Dr. Tang Li Yoong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, with expertise in Renal Nursing, Nursing Research and Statistics, Nursing Education, and Clinical Nursing. Since 2018, she has served as an Assessor for the Nursing Board Malaysia, contributing to curriculum evaluation and accreditation of nursing programmes nationwide. Dr. Tang has led and collaborated on funded research projects on nursing education, patient safety, and infection prevention, and is currently the Principal Investigator of a Green Health and Sustainability project. She has held key leadership roles, including Head of the Department of Nursing Science and Programme Head for the Bachelor of Nursing Science. Dr. Tang actively supervises postgraduate students and mentors early-career researchers.
