Dr. Lee Hai Yen is an accomplished scientist, educator, and biotechnology entrepreneur specializing in vaccine development, food safety microbiology, and antimicrobial postbiotics. She has: Academic & Research Leadership: Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya with over 70 publications, H-index 21, and principal investigator for national vaccine and postbiotic development projects. Innovation & Patents: Holds multiple patents in vaccine platforms and microbial extract applications, with a strong focus on translational research and commercialization. Industry & Global Collaboration: Collaborated iwith industry for research grant, seminars and trainings National Contributions: Serves on expert committees under MOSTI to guide Malaysia’s vaccine ecosystem, manufacturing strategies, and preparedness frameworks.
